The terms apply to all contracts for the provision of our services to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions. These terms apply to every booking that you, as a tenant, make with us or through our website, so you should ensure that you are aware of their content.

When you wish to rent a vehicle from our website, at the price you are currently displaying, your request will be accepted within 48 hours of submitting your order. We will respond to you by email and send an electronic receipt when the your request. Alternatively, you can send us your details via e-mail and we can communicate with you in any way you choose (e-mail, telephone, viber, what’s app, facebook).
*GENERAL TERMS
The driver must have a driver’s license (the insurance covers him after 1 year of possession). He will not be held responsible for those who drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, intentionally causing damage, off-road driving, driving without due care and attention. in any accident you should contact the police and CAR4YOU. The driver is not allowed to carry more passengers than the vehicle’s registration permit specifies.
You, the renter, will accept full responsibility for such claims.
What is included in the price?

What is not included in the price?
Gasoline (as much as it is, the same is returned), charges for pickups/returns without prior notification, traffic fines, road traffic violations for which the driver is responsible and surcharges for young drivers, where applicable.

CDW
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) reduces the renter’s liability from the total cost of the damage, to a liability amount unless the damage is caused under the influence of drugs, alcohol, the use of the vehicle in a prohibited manner or negligent driving style. .x. driving on unpaved roads or renting to third parties. CDW does not cover liability for damage to the vehicle, replacement of locks or keys in the event of customer liability. We recommend checking with your local dealer at the time of vehicle pickup for any exclusions.
Theft-Fire Security
(Theft Waiver) Reduces the renter’s responsibility to the amount of responsibility, in case of theft or damage from attempted theft of the vehicle or destruction by fire. Negligence linked to the theft of the vehicle or causing a fire may lead Cretamotor to claim the full amount of the vehicle’s value.
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
In the event of a personal accident, it covers a part of the damages unless the Code of Conduct has been violated and complies with the *GENERAL TERMS (see above).

It covers the damage caused to the tires and the lower part of the car and does not cover the wrong handling of the driver or if he drives off the asphalt.
Mirrors/glass breakage
It covers the breakage of the vehicle’s glass and mirrors from natural disasters, unless damage has been caused by intentional negligence.
Advance payment and reservations
In order to complete the reservation, you must deposit 10% of the final price as an advance and the rest upon your arrival

Daily rental is considered:From 09:00 in the morning until 20:00 in the evening.

Scooter rental terms
Driver age: Minimum age 21 years and maximum 75.
Driving license: The driver must have a European or international driving license for the respective motorcycle category, be valid and have been issued in the tenant’s country of residence at least one year before the rental date.
Helmet: Free helmet is offered to the tenant and the co-driver.
Insurance: All rental rates include simple liability insurance. The lessee is liable for any damage or theft (partial or total) caused to the leased motorcycle up to the amount of its commercial value at the time of the accident / theft. The lessee pays the amount corresponding to the damage of the Car4you rent a car & scooter motorcycle, regardless of fault and the amount paid is returned to him when and as long as Car4you is compensated
Taxes: All prices are subject to VAT as determined by the state. The tenant is not allowed to use the vehicle for speed races, sleds or sand rides. The tenant must lock the vehicle whenever it remains unattended The vehicle may only be driven by the driver and the persons mentioned in this lease agreement. The lessee is not allowed to move the vehicle outside the area. The lessee is obliged to return the vehicle to the lessor in the same good condition as it received it. In case of mechanical failure the lessee should immediately inform the lessor company. In the event of an accident, the tenant is obliged to report the incident within 24 hours, otherwise he immediately becomes solely responsible for any damage caused. In special cases, Car4you rent a car & scooter reserves the right to replace any type of motorcycle with another of the same category (or higher).

Deliveries – Receipts: They are made only at our station and within its operating hours. Except during business hours and public holidays, delivery and pick-up is only possible by appointment and at an additional cost to the tenant
Car Rental General Terms and Conditions
AGE REQUIREMENT: For groups A, B, drivers must be over 21 years of age. For any other vehicle group, min age of the driver must be 23
YOUNG DRIVER’S SURCHARGE: Young driver surcharge allows customers aged 21years old to rent a category A, B, vehicle under the condition that they hold a drivers license for at least 12 months prior to the pickup day. Young drivers surcharge is available for €10. Young drivers cannot add to their rental Super CDW
DRIVING LICENSE: A valid driving license held for at least one year is required from the driver. For more information over the accepted Driving License per country of origin
GRACE PERIOD: At the end of the agreed rental period, Car4you allows a grace period of 60 minutes free of charge after which, the renter will be charged with a minimum of one full day rental.
TRAFFIC FINES: All fines resulting from the drivers conduct are born solely by the renter.
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW-free): The renters liability for damage to the rented vehicle, can be reduced, under the condition that the Greek Traffic Law is not violated (drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, intentionally causing damage, off-road driving, driving without due care and attention).
The following cases are not covered:
- Damage to the underside of the car
- Damage to the wheels & tires
- Broken car glass
- Loss of the vehicle keys and documents and also personal belongings in a case of a theft
Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW): Reduce your liability to a minimum charge, according to the car group you have picked, by paying an additional small fee .

EXTENDED ROAD ASSISTANCE (ERA): Extended Road Assistance (ERA) is a an optional service that provides road assistance for cases that do not involve a mechanical damage of the vehicle, such as: 1) Lockout Assistance, in case the renter is locked outside the car, 2) Jump-Start/Fuel Assistance, in case the renter’s vehicle face battery failure or runs out of gas, 3) Tire change Assistance, in case of the renters needs help to change a flat tire.
The service is available for an additional charge of €3 per rental day. In case the renter requests any of the Extended Road Assistance services described above, without prior having purchased ERA, there will be an additional charge of €60( only is case of tire replacement or a battery replacement ).
ADDITIONAL DRIVER/S: A charge of €5 per day has to be paid for each additional Driver.
BIOLOGICAL CLEANING CHARGE: Applicable if upon return the vehicle requires cleaning beyond the usual cleaning to prepare it for the next rental. The biological cleaning charge is €40. For cases where we need to clean a seat, a child seat and not the whole saloon the charge is reduced to €10.
BABY SEATS: Available on request with a daily charge of €5
FLEET AVAILABILITY: The Company reserves the right to provide a different car model to that originally reserved of an equivalent or higher model type.
FERRY TRANSPORTATION: Allowed only with the prior written approval of Car4you. Otherwise, the renter is liable for all damages that may have been caused for any reason to the rented vehicle during its transfer, regardless of any coverage and liability restrictions accepted and paid at the start of the rental.
